It was a Thursday night when Maria "Gina" Natero-Armenta went for her usual ultrarun with Brother-In-Law "Fidel Diaz". Just another run she said. Except she didnt bring a Gps, or cellphone. Didnt eat hardly anything except a fourth of an apple. Just a normal night run in the woods of california. She goes running and feels sick. Decides "What the hell! Diaz is sick and still running, why cant I be"? Decides that she should slow down on a hill and then sure enough. She lost him. For three days. Without water or food. And only one kidney. I mean she is a runner who does 50 mile races or even 100 miles if she gets into it but a simple 7 mile "Jog" got her sick and then abruptley finding herself lost in the forest with no food, or water. Its so catchy to "Running ahead of ourselves" She would have been fine if it werent for the Idea that she could have stopped and told Diaz that she felt sick.
